Bio

Carmen is an Argentinian performer, director and teacher based in NYC. She is a UADE University and Stella Adler graduate.

Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Carmen started writing, performing and producing her own cabaret shows — Una vuelta a la niñez and Otra historia de Nueva York — in famous bars in her city. In theatre, Carmen has originated the role of Ophelia in the musical theatre adaptation of Hamlet: El resto es silencio. On TV she has been a guest singer in TV Pública’s “Argentina baila de noche” and “Somos Artistas”.

Carmen moved to New York in 2022, and she has since performed in Noche Latina at 54 Below, originated the role of Amelia in Wheels: an Original Musical, played Hero in Much Ado About Nothing, Bride in Bodas de Blood, toured the US with Girls Night, The Musical and performed in the NYC Fringe Festival.

In 2024 she launched Cambalache Theatre Company alongside fellow argentine actor and director Cecilia Wisky, to celebrate international artists and theatrical exploration.

In 2025 she joined Studio Child, a theatre company which is dedicated to the exploration of theatre, dance, music and movement inspired by Grotowski´s way of working.

In 2026 she became director at the Rhapsodic Theatre Ensemble, a company that focuses on being a training ground for acting students to have a professional experience alongside experienced actors and upcoming playwrights.

She is also teaching Singing for Actors and Musical Theatre at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute.
